Taylor Rose Foundation was established in 2018 by Troy Nelson, in memory of his beloved daughter Taylor Rose Nelson.
Taylor Rose Foundation Grants support programs that offer children who have survived addiction-related trauma.
Programs such as ‘Resilience Reins’ – an Equine-assisted trauma intervention program designed to connect, engage, and encourage healing for young trauma survivors, families, and caretakers.
The program seeks to build and foster resilience through social-emotional learning. Participants report feeling calm and happy while working with the horses and ponies, along with expressing that they felt the barn was a safe place to learn to build healthy relationships with trusted adults and peers.
Resilience Reins is offered at UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center located in Goffstown, NH, just minutes from downtown Manchester.
